Bisate Lodge - Rwanda
Bisate Lodge
Situated in the natural amphitheater of an eroded volcanic cone, you will stay in cozy, unique thatched hovels that are embedded into the forest, each with a private verandah that looks out onto the magical Bisoke, Karisimbi, and Mikeno volcanoes of the Virungas. The rooms were designed as tributes to Rwandan heritage and built by traditional craftspeople. The dramatic scenery, wine cellar, library, spa, restaurant, and tree nursery make this a thrilling destination and the perfect basecamp from which to launch a gorilla trekking adventure.
