The Highlands Camp
The Highlands Camp, located within a UNESCO World Heritage site, is an accessible yet remote-feeling lodge just next to the Olmoti Volcano. The highest property in the area, you’re sure to enjoy the elevated perspective of the iconic Serengeti below. During your stay, domed canvas and glass suites, inspired by the traditional bomas of the Masai tribe, will be your home. Dotted through the forest, each room is surrounded by verdant vegetation and provides beautiful views from their wraparound verandahs. Among the many activities available, we recommend experiencing a game drive in the cooler hours of the day and hiking around the Olmoti and Empakaai Craters, the latter of which is famous for its soda lake filled with bright pink flamingoes.
