Sarara Camp & Tree Houses
Want to spend the night in an epic tree house?
Located in Namunyak Wildlife Conservancy in the pristine wilderness of the Mathews Range, Sarara (the Samburu word for “meeting place”) is located in a beautiful, remote landscape that is home to the second-largest population of elephants and the biggest herd of reticulated giraffe in Kenya. Sarara’s main camp is perched on a rocky outcrop, with stunning views of the conservancy below. The camp waterhole and footpaths are frequently visited by a range of wildlife. When not out on game drives, guests can enjoy the infinity pool, a cold drink on a shaded verandah, or the activity at the waterhole. Sarara treehouses are a birder’s dream come true, with each room nestled into a forest of indigenous trees. Sarara is built so that we can enjoy the natural world without destroying it in the process.
Sundowners on a dry river bed.
